"The Shepherd" Bachelor-film - Update

As you might or might not know, I've been working on my bachelor film with an awesome team since August 2014. We will finish the film this summer, and it will be showcased and shown to the world in February 2016.

Meditation

This was just a little exploration, to see if I could visualize what today felt like while meditating.

What I experienced was this dome surrounding me with small flickers of interconnected webs.  When I explore the edge of it, it appears as a warm glow surrounding, before the colder, darker infinite embraces the border.

Sketchbook - November 2014

Sketchbook update with various stuff - been returning to croquis as of recently and it's been just as challenging as always in a good way. I've dug into dynamic poses much more as seen in the second picture - and doing dynamic poses from imagination - that's really the true test of where one's at and how much one can remember.

STUNTMAN - Challenge #1 - Kangaroo+Xaxaxa

Since I started the STUNTMAN-challenge almost 2 weeks ago, I thought I'd have another go at one of the other challenges, the Kangaroo+Xaxaxa-one. Since I realized there's some crazy foreshortening and dynamic poses going on in some of the Xaxaxa-stuff, I decided to take the challenge of practising that - hence making me fill out 25+ pages in the sketchbook. Ultimately, it lead to me being more confident when drawing the final pose for this girl and kangaroo.

Some reference-pictures and an early stage-sketch before some dear classmates helped me push the perspective (Thanks Rachel, Rune and Melanie!)

My recent personal piece finally done! Was inspired by "The Little Prince" story about these Baobab-trees, and I wanted to try a different color-palette than my usual as well. Hope you like it! Thanks to all those who helped along the way with critique, paintovers and related!

Italy sketches

Was on a lovely 6-day roadtrip with my dad in Italy, eating interesting seafood, enjoying the sun, bathing and having a good time. Got around to do a few sketches too. I'm quite happy with the boat-watercolor since I find perspective, boats and watercolor quite challenging, and having more patience in my process seemed to have a positive impact!
