Felt inspired to do some more pencildrawing, after listening to a podcast with Marko Djurdevic and looking at Wesley Burt's artwork. I noticed that in order for my own sketches to have that kind of detail, I'd have to spend more time on my drawings and be more patient in the proces. One week with Peter Chan of my favorite subject, concept design, lead into exploring what one is usually not comfortable with - so I dived into the world of cartoony, tight and simple. The task was to create three different character designs with varying shapes - and use those three characters to tell a story, creating a "moment" in a film.
