Really started to like looking at color scripts/lighting keys after reading "The Art of Pixar" recently, and since it's a personal desire to improve my skills in this field, the natural solution would be to do color studies myself. Formerly I've done color studies mostly just picking the colors from the original pictures - however, this does merely challenge the painting-aspect of it, and not so much finding, seeing and creating the colors from the ground myself.
Results follow below. Next challenge will be to do some more low-key indoor ones.
Next major portfolio-piece completed. This one's inspired by classic MMO-scenarios with distant lands in the background, small huts/villages from Switzerland - and the artwork and feel of Guild Wars 2. Hope you enjoy.
